This English page is a courtesy translation of the Hebrew terms of use. In any case of discrepancy, the Hebrew version is the binding one.
"Mapa LaNefesh" is a community project operated on a volunteer basis, whose purpose is to make information about care, mental-health, education and welfare services in Israel accessible. Using the site constitutes agreement to the terms below.
The information on the site β accessibility only
- The site is not medical, psychological, therapeutic or educational advice, and is not a substitute for consulting a qualified professional.
- The site does not recommend any provider appearing on it; a service's appearance on the map is not an endorsement, recommendation or statement about its quality.
- The information was collected from public sources and from public reports, and may be partial, wrong or out of date. It is the user's responsibility to verify every detail with the provider itself before any contact or decision.
- The service is provided AS IS and free of charge. The site operator makes no representation or commitment regarding the accuracy, completeness or currency of the information or the availability of the site, and is not liable for any damage β direct, indirect or consequential β arising from use of the information, reliance on it, or its unavailability.
- In an emergency or immediate danger call MDA 101, ERAN 1201, or go to an emergency room β do not rely on this site.
Use of the information and the database
The site's database β the collection, classification, organization and descriptions written for it β is a protected work. The information is offered to the public under the Creative Commons BY-NC 4.0 license:
- You may share, copy and adapt the information β provided you credit "Mapa LaNefesh" with a link to mapalanefesh.org.il, and indicate whether changes were made.
- Commercial use is prohibited for the information or the database, in whole or in part, without prior written permission.
- Do not scrape, extract, duplicate, store or distribute the database or a substantial part of it by automated means, and do not use it to train or feed computerized systems, without prior written permission. The site's data files are marked as such in robots.txt as well.
- Quoting a single record, with attribution and a link to the service's page, is always permitted.
Requests for uses beyond the above β including commercial use or a copy of the database for research β should be directed to the site operator through the site's contact form.
User-submitted content
Suggestions and correction reports sent through the site's forms are used only to update the database. Whoever submits a detail thereby requests its publication on the map, except for personal contact details given so we can get back to them. The forms are not a channel for personal messages and are not read in real time, and they do not reach a care provider.
A provider appearing on the map, or a person whose details appear on a service card, may request the correction or removal of their details at any time β through the contact form (topic: "Removal from the map / privacy request"). Such requests are handled promptly.
Changes to these terms
The site operator may update these terms from time to time. The binding text is the one published on the Hebrew terms page, and the date at its top indicates the latest update.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed solely by the laws of the State of Israel, and exclusive jurisdiction in any matter concerning them is given to the competent courts of the Northern District.
